My Future Job
Hello! In this opportunity I am going to talk about my future job.
Of course in the future I would like to have a work in accordance with my career, I would like to work as a Public Administratorin the SENAMA (servicio nacional del adulto mayor). I have been imagine this job in my entire life, since I was a child I knew that I wanted to work with senior citizens.
I really want to be a contribution for improving the quality of life for the elderly, I would only feel good as a professional when I do it.
I wouldn't like to travel much, and even if I wanted to, I couldn't because it is an office job.
I'm studying Public Administration at Universidad de Chile, coursing 4th semester. In the future I would like to study a post-graduate program about public management, among the possibilities that I could have I think I would choose the option of a master degree.
I had work with senior citizens before, I was a volunteer in a retirement home. I helped them to eat, to walk, I also was listening them stories all day, they were so interesting! But I suffered a blow of fate, one of my favorite senior dies. I couldn't withstand with that and I had lo leave the retirement home. It was so sad
